Andreessen Horowitz Launches Blockchain School

Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz is known for its investments in the world of cryptocurrencies. Among the most famous are Coinbase, Ripple and OpenBazaar. And now, continuing to strengthen its position, Andreessen Horowitz starts a free Blockchain school.

On Friday, the venture capital firm, founded by Mark ANDREESSEN and Ben HOROWITZ, announced that it is opening A16z crypto startup school. One of the goals of the school is to help entrepreneurs learn the basics of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.

The seven-week school program will be launched in February 2020. Lectures will be held at the company's headquarters in Menlo Park, California. Since the A16z program is a purely educational initiative, school participants should not pay for the program.

The school recruits up to 40 participants and these participants must have experience in creating software or previous experience in cryptography. On the demo day, project participants will have the opportunity to share their own ideas and projects.
